NLFWC studied the issues in the Roseland community area and developed the TCH Multi-Media Program in partnership with The Content House (TCH). The program was developed as a means to provide underprivileged or underserved Roseland community youth critical social and personal skills by enriching, equipping and empowering youth in the Roseland community through creative redirection. Through weekly development sessions and activities, participants learn how to positively redirect what they see, think and express/speak through music and multi-media, including songwriting, singing, poetry, photography and videography. Program offerings include the following:
- Communication and professional presence
- Art therapy
- Music production and performance
- Career and money management
- Poetry slams
- Art displays
- Concerts
- Plays
- Weekly off-site events
- Quarterly culminating events
