When Jesus was to fulfill his assignment, he had to die. And even before He died, He had to be beaten and ridiculed. But the woman poured oil upon His head to prepare Him for His assignment. He needed the oil and we do also. Do you have enough oil to get you to the end of your process? What are the weapons the enemy will use toward you? What was in Jesus that allowed Him to endure even when He had the power to shut it down?
Jesus expected the will of God to be done. If you don’t expect God to do something for you, you’ll give up. The key is that God is faithful to His Word. Sometimes the time of the fulfillment of what He said demands patience. It’s not easy because in that time lawlessness is working. The enemy is restrained but his spirit is here, the spirit of lawlessness is here. This lawless spirit speaks sin and begins to work lawless attributes. God calls this spirit of lawlessness mysterious. Unless another spirit reveals it, the spirit of lawlessness hides itself.
But God did not leave us on this earth to fulfill His assignment without another mystery called righteousness. There is a mystery that the devil and his demons can’t discern and it is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit deals with everything that is not like God. The Holy Spirit works in us to bring to light all unrighteousness, all lawlessness. The Spirit of God counteracts lawlessness. The Holy Ghost not only restrains the devil, He also gives you an endowment to restrain your flesh. The Holy Ghost causes us not to be overcome by the mysteries of iniquity but to be overcome with righteousness.
You must have the mantle of the Kingdom of God on you to complete your assignment in the midst of the principalities and powers of this world. Demons and principalities study your patterns and they can discern when you are not prepared. At that moment, they will attack you. Your assignment is not without controversy, not without cost.
Things happen in life that cause you to be paralyzed. But the God that helped your mother, the God that helped your father, will stand up and help you. You don’t have to be stuck. Come on! Let’s cross over! Receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit that will cause you to fulfill your assignment! Be transformed by the mystery of righteousness!
